Dancing with the Stars...the finale

Feel like this season of Dancing with the Stars flew by. I can't believe tonight kicks off the two night finale.

Tonight, JR Martinez & Karina Smirnoff, Ricki Lake & Derek Hough, and Rob Kardashian & Cheryl Burke face off.

What do you think of the final three contestants? Once it was down to the top 5, these three were my pick for the finale.

Who's your favorite? This season, I've been cheering for JR.

JR Martinez : JR Martinez Gets Longest Standing Ovation | Dancing with the Stars Hero Reduces Judges To Tears | Dancing with the Stars Winner

Not a dry eye in the house: J.R Martinez moves everyone at the studio with his performance

Everyone has a story, and tonight the Dancing with the Stars hopefuls got the chance to reveal their most memorable year through music and movement.

Frontrunners, again: It might not have been as moving, but Ricki's technically-adept dance finishes top with the judges

Sensual: Ricki remembers the year she met the love of her life, which translated into her dance with Derek

Recent pain: David Arquette relives the 'hurt' from his marriage split as Courteney Cox watches

Proud daughter: Courteney Cox and daughter Coco watch and clap, the seven-year-old seeming incredibly proud of her father

Tribute: Rob Kardashian pays tribute to his late father by dancing to one of the attorney's favourite songs, Fly Me to the Moon

That's our boy!: Ron is cheered on by his mother and sisters, as he is every week

Hold On: Chynna Phillips relives her struggles with substance abuse as she dances to her greatest hit

Martinez and Phillips saw the season’s first nine scores of the season, but Ricki Lake with the show's lucky charm, Derek Hough, blew them out of the water.

In another rumba, Lake attempted to convey the memories of 2010, the year her rented home was burned to the ground but she met the love of her life.

Though Carrie Ann Inaba didn't see the link when she announced: 'Ricki Lake, you are on fire,' there was no doubting the judge's admiration for the presenter's technical skills.

Lady in red: Kristen Cavallari looks stunning in crimson for her dance with Mark Ballas

Graceful: Nancy keeps her dress in place, but is underwhelming

Carson Kressley tangoed to celebrate the year that he launched Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and entertained the audience and judges alike. He was awarded eight and seven scores.

Even the presence of ever-loyal estranged wife, Courteney Cox and their daughter Coco, wasn't enough to rally David Arquette into a show-stopping performance, despite using his recent marriage split and car accident as inspiration.

Awkward: Chaz is popular with judges and crowd alike, but his technique is woeful

Raunchy: Hope's outfit has an 80s' quality to it, as she relives the World Cup Finals defeat

Confident: Ricki must know she has her footwork off pat as she attends rehearsals earlier

Good looking: Kristen and Rob look great as they rehearse, but didn't wow when the moment came

Hope Solo’s sporting disappointments were lost somewhat in a revealing outfit with 80s' style crimped hair lending a silliness to the talented athlete.
Kristin Cavallari was cheered on by former fiancé Jay Cutler as she sizzled in scarlet to secure 24 points.

A former Soldier & Burn Survivor "J.R. Martinez" "Dancing With The Stars"

ROCKFORD, Mich. — Brien Dews of Rockford hopes people will be inspired by more than killer moves when the “Dancing with the Stars” season premiere kicks off tonight.

One of the celebrity dancers — J.R. Martinez — a former soldier, burn survivor and actor on “All My Children,” is lacing up his dance shoes for a shot at winning the title with partner Karina Smirnoff.

For Dews, Martinez’s dancing debut is showcasing how burn survivors keep living despite their life-changing injuries.

“That is what J.R. is showing, especially being such a public forum,” Dews said.

Martinez was burned on more than 40 percent of his body when his Humvee hit a land mine when he served in Iraq in 2003. The injuries left him with scars on his face and the loss of his left ear.

Dancing with the Stars : Chaz Bono | Ron Artest | Nancy Grace | Fat Man Dances!!!!

The celebrities (!) producers rustled up for the upcoming season of ever-popular - "Dancing with the Stars" has turned out to be a mind-boggling hodge-podge of what-if's, so-so talent, and wannabees.

With the exception of Chynna Phillips, Ricki Lake, and David Arquette.

Just betcha, after casting got two sheets to the wind one night, the dead soldiers (empties) were put to practical use in a raunchy round-or-two of spin-the-bottle to dredge up a wild card or two - with the ultimate aim - of shaking things up.

Is Chaz Bono that nimble on his feet in his sensible black shoes?

Can Ron Kardashian hold his own, or is he simply capitalizing on the family's reality-show brand?

Nancy Grace may be quick with a quip, but is the mouthy talk-show host capable of tripping-the-light fantastic on the ball-room floor?

Frankly, the image of Ms.Grace in the arms of man is way beyond the pale.

ABC brass - what the heck were you thinking - eh?

Well, you know what they say:

"It/s not over until the fat man dances!"

Stay posted for updates.
