Brady Quinn doesn't need me defending him, but in light of recent criticism leveled at BQ on the eve of the NFL draft, I'm going to do it anyway. Quinn detractors are repeating the mantra that BQ is a nice quarterback, but that he "didn't play well in big games." ESPN's resident moron Merrill Hoge stated on national radio that he didn't feel that BQ was worthy of being selected in the first round of the draft. We'll take these one at a time.

Coming into the draft Quinn was considered to be one of the top players in the country and was invited to attend the draft in person. Before the draft started, Quinn was labeled as a "franchise quarterback in the mold of Carson Palmer." He was projected to be picked in the top ten and even could have been the number one overall pick. While some suspected the Browns would select Quinn with the third pick, he fell to the 22nd pick in the draft before being picked up by them.

Like him or not, Mike Vick is back in a big way. He is the leader in Pro Bowl voting and a solid candidate for NFL MVP with 24 total touchdowns and only 4 interceptions. With that said, I have definately been watching him play. Actually i have watched him his whole career. I live in Charlotte, NC so when Mike was with Atlanta he was a big rival to the Panthers. He is no doubt one of my favorite players to watch in the NFL this year. And he has really turned his life around after being away for a while. I truly think he has changed for the better.

On to the wallpaper I made...In my opinion, this is my best wallpaper. Everything seemed to work well but I wish the bottom of his foot wasn't cut off. I faded it out and it's only a small cut off in the photo but it's not too noticeable. The bigger Vick int he background really makes this wallpaper stand out too. I really love this piece.
